Android Market

Cashew is available on Android Market. If your device has the Android Market client installed you can do one of the following.

1. Install using the Market application. Launch the Market application, choose the Search command from the menu, type Cashew in the input field, touch Cashew in the search results window, and the window with information about Cashew should be displayed. Touch Install and wait while the application is downloaded and installed.
2. Install using the Browser application. Launch Browser, navigate to this site, and touch the Available on Android Market button on the home page or click here.

Installing directly

You can also download Cashew directly from this site. To do that you need to enable direct software installation from the Internet.

1. Touch Settings
2. Touch Applications
3. Touch Unknown sources to turn the option on
4. Read the warning and touch OK

Once this is done, launch Browser, navigate to this site and touch the Download button on the home page or click here. This will initiate the download of the application package to your device. Then, in the downloads screen, touch the corresponding downloaded item and confirm installation.

Another option is to download Cashew to your computer and use third party software to install .apk files to your device (e.g., HTC Sync, AppsInstaller, ApkInstaller, etc).

Installing from other sources

There is a number of Android Market alternatives. If you use one of them, we are happy to inform you that Cashew is also available at www.slideme.org, www.phoload.com, and www.andappstore.com.
